So tonight as Nels is working VERY late and I am home sick, I am going through facebook photos from a few years ago and thinking to myself "Wow! I was attractive" I mean I did my hair everyday, dressed semi-cute, and was not as fat as I thought. Now I'm realizing that I need to do my hair everyday, I need to dress cuter, and that weight loss is a MUST!!!!!!! I have never felt and looked as unattractive as I do now! Married life has not been good to me in the looks department. Don't get me wrong I love being married to my Nelsie, but have taken a turn for the worse since getting married. California is not the best thing for my hair.
I have decided that I am going to start exercising like crazy, eating healthier, and making a bigger effort in the looking cute department. I am the biggest I have ever been and dressing cute is not really that easy when none of your clothes fit the way you want them to, they hug in the wrong places, and you feel like a baluga whale. I feel that it is not fair to me, my body, or Nels. This stupid little pill that females take once a day to keep things growing in our stomachs at bay, is NOT going to get the best of me. So here is me being far too honest to myself and anyone out there that reads this. I am now on my way to a skinnier, healthier, bikini bodied, :) ha me.

Rain rain, have you gone away?
It has been raining since Monday of last week! Yesterday started out looking like it might be clear, but by 9 it was raining again. So today it was no surprise that it is still raining!!! We need the rain so I am okay with it. When we moved into our apartment we had a very dry and empty huge hole in our backyard, that is supposed to hold water and of course be a pond. There were floating docks that had long been beached, but are now floating and on the other side of the pond.
The backyard and all around us is dirt dirt and more dirt. So now it's mud, mud, and more mud.
The left side of the pond. That is the island and right outside our bedroom door. There's a fire pit in the middle of the island. Maybe if it stays wet long enough we'll be able to have a bonfire this year.
The right side of the pond, this was taken late last week so the docks haven't floated over here yet, but today they are just on the other side of the island.
As you can see my tomatoes are doing really well. :) They're just soaking up that water. I'm sure they'll grow anytime soon now ;)
These are the two bonsais that we got for Christmas. The man that we bought them from said Bonsais LOVE water so they couldn't be happier....if he was telling the truth.

More painting

This is supposed to be fall leaves Nels was working really late last night in Santa Rosa. So to occupy my time so I wasn't lonely and scared I decided to paint this.

Trees at night! I was bored today while the laundry was going so instead of cleaning and showering like I told Nels I was going to do today, I procrastinated and did this.
A large tree, this was one of my firsts, but I forgot to take a picture and put it up here.I know many of you are thinking (the few that visit my blog)
"weird all she paints is trees, and a random block thingy that's kinda ugly."
Well true, but for me that's pretty much all I like to paint so far. I can add more and more paint to make it look like it's more then a 2 dimensional picture that would fit nicely in with Mario and Luigi's world. So make fun of all you want, but when I become a famous tree painterer, Don't come crying to me when you want some of my money and a mural of a "Large tree" in you bedroom, bathroom, or great room. :)

EVOO..........

Or for those of you who don't watch Rachel Ray. Extra Virgin Olive oil. It's wonderful!!! I was at a Christmas ornament exchange with some ladies in my ward and one of them started talking about how her face was so great and soft. (obviously it was part of the conversation not just bragging about great skin) She said that she used EVOO. WHAT?!?!?! So of course my interest was peeked and I decided to try it. You just put a little bit in your hand like the size of a dime, Rub it in like face wash and then wash it off. There will still be a little residue, but that's the good stuff that makes your skin glow and become softer. So I kinda took it to the extreme and started using it for more then just my face. I use it on freshly shaven legs and it makes them softer and more touchable. Also my newest favorite use is embarrassingly enough for stretch marks. Yes, disgustingly enough I have gained the freshman 15, that I didn't gain in college and the newly married however much. It's gross, trust me. Any who, It has lightened them a ton!! In only a week they were shades lighter. So for those of you will come and visit (which isn't likely) No we are not cooking large amounts of fried food in the bathtub. I am on my way to pretty skin!

Ramblings
Life is fairly boring here in the Johnson apartment. Nels is working alot, especially now that our car is in the shop to get it's clutch redone. I am working still barely 15 hours a week. Which to most that sounds amazing! To someone who needs money, time wasted so I'm not bored, and friends, working 15 hours doesn't do much for you. I work Sunday mornings so I miss Sacrament meeting, then get there just in time for me to go to nursery. I love little children, but it is very hard to feel the spirit and be spiritual renewed to start a new week when you feel you are nothing more than a free babysitter for the church. I sure do love having snack time though. It's great on those Sundays when you missed breakfast! It is as good as you've always thought.
Speaking of children those of you who know me know that I want to have a family and if it was purely up to me we'd be having one right now, but why is it that anyone who knows that you want a family in the future feels that they need to share their opinion about how long you should wait, that right now is not the time, that you shouldn't have one, that you can't handle how hard it is, etc. etc. I'm so tired of peoples opinions right now. If I want it i'll ask you :) Thanks and goodnight.
Now that I have gotten that off my chest and have been able to vent about church. Why do a vehicle repairs cost so much?!?!?! The Labor alone is $722.00!!!! I think that maybe I should be switching my careers just about now.
Also if you want to see fog that is so thick that you can't see more then 50 yards ahead you should come visit here in Vacaville. It's amazing. I've never seen fog like this in my life.
I know none of this is important or makes any sense to you, but I wanted to vent about how I'm feeling.

Dabble Dabble Dabble...

I have been dabbling in paint. I am not very good, but still want to post some of my "art pieces." Many of you, if of course there's anyone who looks at our blog:) will look at these and laugh, and realize how not talented I am, but I am semi-proud of them. I have a lot of extra time on my hands, because my job only lets me work about 15 hours a week, and there's NOTHING available here in CA except for retail. I am already partially doing retail and am more then sick of it. :) So this is some of what I am trying to fill my time with. Oh and the last one if of something else I fill my time with. Just kidding. I just thought it was funny!
