More painting

This is supposed to be fall leaves Nels was working really late last night in Santa Rosa. So to occupy my time so I wasn't lonely and scared I decided to paint this.

Trees at night! I was bored today while the laundry was going so instead of cleaning and showering like I told Nels I was going to do today, I procrastinated and did this.
A large tree, this was one of my firsts, but I forgot to take a picture and put it up here.
I know many of you are thinking (the few that visit my blog)
"weird all she paints is trees, and a random block thingy that's kinda ugly."
Well true, but for me that's pretty much all I like to paint so far. I can add more and more paint to make it look like it's more then a 2 dimensional picture that would fit nicely in with Mario and Luigi's world. So make fun of all you want, but when I become a famous tree painterer, Don't come crying to me when you want some of my money and a mural of a "Large tree" in you bedroom, bathroom, or great room. :)

EVOO..........

Or for those of you who don't watch Rachel Ray. Extra Virgin Olive oil. It's wonderful!!! I was at a Christmas ornament exchange with some ladies in my ward and one of them started talking about how her face was so great and soft. (obviously it was part of the conversation not just bragging about great skin) She said that she used EVOO. WHAT?!?!?! So of course my interest was peeked and I decided to try it. You just put a little bit in your hand like the size of a dime, Rub it in like face wash and then wash it off. There will still be a little residue, but that's the good stuff that makes your skin glow and become softer. So I kinda took it to the extreme and started using it for more then just my face. I use it on freshly shaven legs and it makes them softer and more touchable. Also my newest favorite use is embarrassingly enough for stretch marks. Yes, disgustingly enough I have gained the freshman 15, that I didn't gain in college and the newly married however much. It's gross, trust me. Any who, It has lightened them a ton!! In only a week they were shades lighter. So for those of you will come and visit (which isn't likely) No we are not cooking large amounts of fried food in the bathtub. I am on my way to pretty skin!

Ramblings

Life is fairly boring here in the Johnson apartment. Nels is working alot, especially now that our car is in the shop to get it's clutch redone. I am working still barely 15 hours a week. Which to most that sounds amazing! To someone who needs money, time wasted so I'm not bored, and friends, working 15 hours doesn't do much for you. I work Sunday mornings so I miss Sacrament meeting, then get there just in time for me to go to nursery. I love little children, but it is very hard to feel the spirit and be spiritual renewed to start a new week when you feel you are nothing more than a free babysitter for the church. I sure do love having snack time though. It's great on those Sundays when you missed breakfast! It is as good as you've always thought.
Speaking of children those of you who know me know that I want to have a family and if it was purely up to me we'd be having one right now, but why is it that anyone who knows that you want a family in the future feels that they need to share their opinion about how long you should wait, that right now is not the time, that you shouldn't have one, that you can't handle how hard it is, etc. etc. I'm so tired of peoples opinions right now. If I want it i'll ask you :) Thanks and goodnight.
Now that I have gotten that off my chest and have been able to vent about church. Why do a vehicle repairs cost so much?!?!?! The Labor alone is $722.00!!!! I think that maybe I should be switching my careers just about now.
Also if you want to see fog that is so thick that you can't see more then 50 yards ahead you should come visit here in Vacaville. It's amazing. I've never seen fog like this in my life.
I know none of this is important or makes any sense to you, but I wanted to vent about how I'm feeling.

Dabble Dabble Dabble...

I have been dabbling in paint. I am not very good, but still want to post some of my "art pieces." Many of you, if of course there's anyone who looks at our blog:) will look at these and laugh, and realize how not talented I am, but I am semi-proud of them. I have a lot of extra time on my hands, because my job only lets me work about 15 hours a week, and there's NOTHING available here in CA except for retail. I am already partially doing retail and am more then sick of it. :) So this is some of what I am trying to fill my time with. Oh and the last one if of something else I fill my time with. Just kidding. I just thought it was funny!

Cotton headed Ninnymugginz

Last Friday Nels and I went up to spend the night at Alexis' to chop down a tree on Saturday. She and I went shopping friday night, it was so fun. We left the kids with their dad and Nels, so that we could just have fun and get what we needed to without the hassle of children. I had a lot of fun with here, I absolutely love her! She's amazing!
So Saturday we woke up and headed up into the mountains. We drove for far too long to get to a tree. We drove like 5 hours, to a spot that on the way home only took 2 or 3 hours, explain that to me?? Ugh! Anyways so we drove up there and Nels ended up driving their prowler(supped up four wheelerish thing) and I got to be in the huge truck. Well we start driving up a one truck road, with snow all over it to get us a tree. Unfortunately the four wheel drive didn't work so we were all over the road.Fish tailing everwhere. I thought we were going to end up in a tree or worse someones trunk. I was terrified! We ended up having to park it half way up the mountain, and all pile in the other truck and the prowler. We hiked down the mountain to get the tree which means we had to hike back up now carrying said tree. We finally got our tree and headed down the mountain to the truck. I decided I would ride on the prowler with Nels even though it was FREEZING!! I really am a nervous driver/passenger I have come to find.
I made Nels stop on our way home to get us some lights and ornaments. We both have tons of ornaments, but left them at our parents. Our tree is cute, but a little boring for what i am used to. My mom's tree is so crammed you can't really see the tree, but I do love it anyways! Happy First Christmas to us!!!
