Home!

I am home! Not that anyone noticed that I was gone :) but I am home. It feels good to be home, yet a little weird still. I am still trying to get into the groove again.

I went to help Jennifer and Justin with their new family of 5!! The twins were both home and Jennifer had asked me to come help when she first told me she was pregnant. So I went. It was busy! I didn't have to get up with the babies at night and I was still exhausted. Then again, almost every time they got up I heard them and would wake up. Obviously I didn't get up and have to wait for the babies to fall back asleep, but still it wears on you.

The babies are growing like crazy! They had grown about 2 oz. a day which according to the doctor is unheard of! Those babies are like any baby, eat, sleep, poop, repeat. And man do they poop!!! I went through 4 diapers on Gideon in one changing, which was about 2 minutes long. He keep tricking me into thinking his done and as soon as he would get wiped he would do a little doody. TMI-get over it:)

Phineas is as cute as ever!! I love that little guy. He is obsessed with cars and Nemo. We watched them about 4 times a day. It made him happy though so you can't be too sick of it. He is such a smart little dude. I miss him so much. I want to go steal him, and bring him here to keep me entertained.

Nels missed me like crazy! He may not admit it to you now, but he did. And I missed him just as much. I was ready to come home and see him the second day I was there. It's hard being away from him. So weird how when you're single you don't really miss anyone that way, yet once you fall in love you can't stand being away from that love. Mushy I know-again get over it!

Anyways I am glad to be home. It's starting to feel like home and Ut is just a familiar place where family lives. I still love going there, but it is true home is where your heart is and mine is with Nelsie! (oooohhhh cute)

Here are some adorable pictures of the boys. The twins sleep in a bassinet together and this is how we found them one afternoon. Normally they sleep with their faces in the same direction or just not as close. Too cute!

NEW NEPHEWS!!!

Three to be exact!! Jennifer and Justin had their twins June 29th??? (last Tuesday night) I can't tell you their names because their mama doesn't want people to know or something, but they were pretty little babies. Weighing in at a whopping 5lbs. 13oz. and 4lbs. 11oz. I get to meet them this week because I am going to help her for a couple weeks. And my favoritest sister in law Alexis had her little boy the night of the sixth!!! Luke 7lbs. 9oz. I can't wait to see him this weekend. CRAZY!!! It's baby city in my family and I love it!! I wish I could hold them all right now. I need a baby fix. So if you have a baby and you need someone to hold it. I am available. If you're out of town all you have to do is buy me a plane ticket and I' so there!!! We could be best friends!

EVERYONE is having babies!!! What the junk! My sister in law had the first baby girl of the family about 2 weeks ago. My sister Jennifer just had twins on Tuesday! Making the score 4-1. I am so excited. My sister in law Alexis is having a baby boy any day now. My friends are pregnant or just had a baby. I could probably count at least 25 or so people that are pregnant right now! What's in the water? Why can't I drink some of this water? :) I am feeling VERY baby hungry today. Not to be confused with any other day of the week, I am ALWAYS baby hungry, but today it is just a little more of a nagging feeling. I need to have more babies close to me. "Someone that I know well enough that I can just go over to their home and hold their baby for a little while.

I know I know all in due time. I know I know I am "still so young, and have the rest of my life to have kids." Today I just want one now.

Happy FATHER'S Day to the BEST dad in the world!!!!!
Reasons my dad ROCKS!!
1. His name is David. David beat Goliath, need I say more.
2. My dad is so creative. He helped me with many school projects.
3.Very inventive. Thanksgiving tradition of smashing pumpkins with bats.
4. He's made mountains out of mole hills. My dad could make something out of nothing. He would always have an idea of some craft I could do on Sundays. Usually something like painting some of the wood in the wood pile.
5. He's a great puzzler. He and I would sit and work on puzzles for hours.
6. He understands me.
7. He can comfort me in the worst of times. My dad always knows what to say. When I would be blubbering because of home sickness, whether here, away at EFY, or moving away to BYU, he would know exactly what I was saying even though what was coming out of my mouth was nothing, but mere squeaks and sniffles. He knows what to say to make me feel better and be able to deal with what I am dealing with because I knew that he had once gone through it too.
8.My dad Loves his family. He has sacrificed so much for our family. He has sacrificed everything while not always getting the thanks that he deserved.
9. He treats my mother like a queen, sure he teases her, but I always knew that he loved her more than anything. My dad is a great example of what a husband should be.
10. My dad is a great father. He would play for hours outside with us, playing night games, making up games, playing tickle monster, taking us for Sunday drives, making taffy for us after we saw a llama on said drive, he tries to make every outing a special and memorable one.
11.My dad is a great cook! He mostly made soups, but they were tasty.
12. He would let me play with his hair. When I younger he let me put butterfly clips in his hair and then I proceeded to take pictures. He also would let me paint his toenails, Only clear, but I still thought that was pretty great!
13. My dad loves popcorn! We have this in common.
14. My dad gets achy if he is touched in the same place for too long. Me too!! I just found this out recently, Nels and my mom like to rub an arm or back when they are sitting next to you and after a while it just hurts! Weird I know, but my dad knows what I'm talking about.
15. My dad is a great, Grandpa. He loves his grandbabies! He only gets to see Phineas very often, but has a great love for them all.

My dad is the greatest, I could go on and on and on, but I won't I just wanted you all to know how great he is and for him to know how much I appreciate and love him! Dad you are amazing! Thank you for all you do.

BABY Girl HUNT

Congrats to my brother and sister in law on their new baby girl!!! Finally a niece! I can't wait to see pictures of her, and will steal some from their blog soon to post them!!! YAY!

Today is my mom's...uh...35th birthday!!! My mom is the greatest woman on earth! She is kind to everyone and has always been a good example. My mom is the most giving person. When we as college students would show up with extra roommates, and mouths to feed she didn't care, she would just rearrange the table and add a little more to make do. My mom is my best friend, she is always there for me and has great advice for the scary or different things that life throws my way.
Mom you are the best! I love you sooooo much. I hope that your day turns out to be amazing and that you have a blast!

My thumb is definitely a shade of green.

I love gardening! I love planting a dried out seed and watching it grow. I am like a little child on Christmas Eve, anxiously awaiting the morning to run down to the tree and see what presents they received from Santa. Only it's not Christmas, and the presents are little green heads popping out of the moist dirt to say hello to the warm sun.

This year I wanted to plant an entire garden because last year I had tomatoes shoved into a pot, that was the extent of my garden. I asked our landlords where I could plant on the mass of land that there is. I was directed to the garden just outside their home.
At first I was mad because the dirt is crap and it wasn't what I had pictured in my head. Then I realized it was all I had, and since the weeds grow like crazy out there then my plants might actually have some luck. I bought my seeds and couldn't wait to get started. I soaked the dirt so that it would be easy to maneuver. Bad idea! I stepped into the dirt which I figured would be a little muddy, and sunk up to my knees!!! This made for an interesting experience. I got tired of trying to dig myself out of the mud so I just started planting Zucchini where ever I had made a footprint. Then wherever I could find dry land. I would dig and inch then cover it back up with dry dirt and planned to water them later. I did this with my pees and tomatoes too. There wasn't much of a system at this point because I was COVERED in mud!

I watered what I had done and waited for it to grow. My mom came and visited me and was shocked at my garden. Why was she shocked you ask? Well because evidently when you plant an entire package of Zucchini seeds you are looking at well, a LOAD of Zucchini. I was then told that 2 or 3 plants would have been Plenty for Nels and me, along with some to give away. Well I have now over 20 plants growing. At last count there were 23, but the magically keep popping up. I have a billion and a half snap pee plants and more tomato plants than I can count. I also planted mint in a Terra cota pot and that is growing beautifully.
Oh and I was making a watermelon slushy and decided that maybe since I have to seed the entire watermelon before blending that I might as well see if the seeds would grow. I remember everyone always being so shocked when they found a watermelon growing in their garden because someone spit a seed. I thought it was a rare thing that happened. I gave my watermelon seeds a chance and now I have probably 50 plants all growing right now!!!
